There is. Since 1 July 2023 the Netherlands runs extended producer responsibility for textiles, and socks count as consumer clothing. Anyone placing even one item on the Dutch market has to register and report; there is no minimum volume.

We are not going to invent a registration number, and we do not make any claim on this site about recycling, collection or circularity as a result. If we ever do register, the number appears here.
